Superior Design of New Cat® C1.5 and C2.2 Engines Meets Tier 4 Final/Stage IIIA/Stage IIIB Emissions Requirements with Optimum Customer Value
The new Cat® three- and four-cylinder diesel engines, with displacements of 1.5 and 2.2 liters, allow Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to equip their products with fuel-efficient engines that meet EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IIIA/Stage IIIB emissions requirements.
Two new engines, the C1.5 and the C2.2, provide ratings from 33 - 61 horsepower (24 - 46 kW) and build on the solid features of their predecessors to assure reliable performance, low operating costs, durability and optimum utilization in a range of applications.
